Turkey, with its incredible landscapes and history offers a perfect destination for both sailing enthusiasts and people who always want to add a bit more to their holiday. Turkish coastal waters are perfect for sailing. The prevailing winds from the west and northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting. And from the coast’s unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3,000 metres above sea level.

From bases along the Turkish coast at Bodrum, Marmaris and Gocek, our trips take you through pristine clear waters to deserted pine scented creeks, calling at ancient Greek, Roman and Lycean ruins and the least visited, but most beautiful Greek islands. You will tour through the magnificent Ionian landscape that gave birth to western civilization.

We will also recommend a few nights on shore visiting Turkey’s magnificent capital, Istanbul, or perhaps Cappadocia with its breathtaking landscape. Flights
The national airline is Turkish Airlines. They fly from most European countries.  Charter flights are also available to Bodrum, Dalaman and Antalya. Turkish Airlines has several domestic flights a day to Cappadocia.

Private land transfers
We can arrange private land transfers for you in advance.  A representative will collect you in a vehicle to suit the number of guests in your group at your desired collection point. Private transfers operate throughout Turkey.

Car Hire
If you would like to hire a car while in Turkey we can locate the best deal to suit you with one of the best car rental companies in the area.

Private Flights
For more comfort and flexibility we offer private air charter in Turkey for both a fast transfer as well as for sightseeing.  Your flight will be handled by an experienced representative who will assist you with all your requests. We can offer both private aircrafts and passenger helicopters for up to six passengers.

Restaurants
We can recommend restaurants to you whether it is for your sailing trip or while on one of our trips in land. We can pre-book a table for your group and arrange entertainment catering for any special occasion you might have. We know restaurants in Istanbul, Bodrum, Gocek and Fethiyje as well as small family run restaurants in bays along the coast.

Yacht Provisioning
Adriatic Holidays can arrange for your yacht to be provisioned prior to embarkation.  For this extra service please let us know and we will send you the form to complete. With this service you will have the food and drinks you request on starting your sailing trip. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to stop in many ports and some bays and stock up during your journey
