Catamaran Lagoon 500
Graham and his family chartered the Lagoon 500 in August 2013:
We had a wonderful time. The cat was just great and the perfect size for us.
Sime and Marije were a really professional, knowledgeable and friendly crew and our short experience of Croatia was just the right combination of sailing/swimming/snorkelling/sightseeing… it was all over rather too soon. The kids loved seeing Sime catch an octopus (tasted good too) and we were thrilled to catch a fleeting close-up of dolphins on the penultimate day.
The trip was a bit of a gamble for us as we didn’t know you and we’ve have never been on a sailing holiday but I would definitely recommend you to others. None of the ports or bays we visited felt too crowded despite it being peak season , besides we could always hop back on the boat to escape the madding crowd 🙂
We also enjoyed the short historical trip around Vis with Marco in his Land Rover. He told us a lot about the local history; we visited fort george, the submarine tunnels and finished off with wine tasting beside the cricket pitch at roki’s. A fun diversion.
Please pass on my thanks to Sime and Maria once again. Nice couple.
And thanks to you, i felt you took great care of me. I’m not always the easiest of clients but you disarmed me pretty quickly. I was impressed by your attention to detail and helpfulness.

The client skipper must be in possession of a certificate of competence (internationally recognised) in order to charter a bareboat, including the licence of authorization to operate the radio-telephone station on the yacht. If the client does not possess the said certificate, he must take a skipper at extra charge. The boat must be returned clean with full tanks of petrol and water on the final Saturday morning. For all practical purposes this means that the boat should return to the marina on the Friday evening, in order to comply fully with the conditions of return.
The tax of cca 1 EUR/person/day is expected to be paid in cash at one-time basis upon the arrival to any charter starting base. The payment settles the whole charter stay in Croatia.
