The Ark of Ideas is an international communication campaign that aims to bring the subject of climate change down from the heights of summit meetings to eye and sea level, proposing new ways to engage the public at large towards responsibility and action.
The catamaran Largyalo, with its revolutionary energy concept powered by sun, wind and water, absolutely independent of fossil fuel, emphasizes the credibility of this initiative.
The Largyalo, based in the Balearics, can accommodate up to 12 guests in six double cabins. The yacht has three crew members and can be chartered on a weekly basis.
The price shown is a weekly rate (daily charter is possible, please contact us for the rates) and it includes:
A week rental with two crew members
Passenger Insurance
Tender with outboard engine
Snorkelling equipment
Complete linen and towels
Yacht cleaning
Extras:

Taxes and fees

All extra costs and services have to be paid on board in cash to the captain.
Usually, the “extra” costs are covered with the “onboard cash”, 150 € per week, each guest puts into a purse, and out of which the expenses are paid. If there is money left over at the end, it will be reimbursed.
Before starting our circumnavigation in 2010 for the project The Ark of Ideas, we offer to interested individuals the possibility to spend an unforgettable sailing holiday on board the Largyalo. It’s not about sailing the maximum of miles, but the focus is rather on looking for the perfect anchoring places for bathing and enjoying a relaxed life on board a very special ship.
Largyalo offers plenty of deck space, as well as all comfort to spend relaxing weeks. First Class Catering and Service are for sure.
Sailors and the technically interested can explore the special features of the boat and those who just want to relax have plenty of opportunity to chill and unwind.
Even non-sailors and the not so seaworthy will feel well on board, since a catamaran this size lies always steady in the water. The coffee cup stays on the table, not only at anchorage but also under sails.
Every guest on Largyalo not only enjoys a special sailing holiday, but also supports the climate protection campaign The Ark of Ideas.
Largyalo is a perfect choice for corporate trips!
Largyalo offers plenty of deckspace and a unique surrounding to host your company’s incentive travel, casual meetings, workshops and trainings. Corporations linked to renewable energies or just concious of environmental issues could take this unique opportunity to underline their efforts in sustainability.
