Villa Meneghello

Villa Meneghello is situated on the waterfront and has an amazing view of the open sea, yet it is only a 15-minute walk to the centre of the town of Hvar. The town of Hvar is always a hive of activity, with a cosmopolitan and lively atmosphere. Yet the villa is secluded within 1000 square metres of old pine trees and exotic plants, creating beautiful surroundings that hide it completely from passers-by. However, in spite of all its elegance the villa is fully fitted with modern conveniences.

Its 300 m2 consist of two luxurious apartments decorated with the works of contemporary Croatian artists. One apartment is on the first floor, the other on the ground floor. The first-floor apartment consists of three rooms (two double and one twin), one living room, two bathrooms, kitchen and large private terraces. The ground-floor apartment consists of two double rooms (one with en-suite bathroom), one twin room, one large living room with a dining-room area, a kitchen, two additional bathrooms and one large terrace with the sea view.

The villa is rented as a whole in high season. In the garden, there is a swimming pool, hammocks, deck-chairs and coffee tables for ‘dolce far niente’ and a sun deck. You can swim in the sea and sunbathe on the rocks, which are only a few metres away. Just stroll down a little path and you are there! Imagine a morning swim before breakfast and the quiet times whenever you do not feel like hopping from one little island to the other. And yet if you do, they are right there, within your reach. If you are a beach fan, then you can take a walk to the popular pebbly beach known as Pokojni dol. It is only a couple of hundred metres away and it is ideal for children.

Villa Meneghello is located on one of the most wonderful spots on the island of Hvar which was declared ‘one of ten most beautiful islands in the world’ in a recent survey by the Traveller Magazine.

The town of Hvar, one of the most famous summer resorts on the Adriatic coast, has more hours of sun per day than any other place in the Mediterranean, the natural environment is magnificent; there are exotic gardens, famous lavender fields and crystal-clear sea. The Paklinski archipelago stretches across the sea in front of this Dalmatian town. It consists of tiny islands and hundreds of little bays. It will offer you the joy of swimming in the sea that is turquoise in the shallows and deep blue further out; you can sunbathe for hours, fish, dive, sail……nature is yours to explore!
