Sardinia and Corsica info
Sardinia is one of the most popular destinations in the Western Mediterranean – with lots of fantastic beaches, extraordinary cliff formations and crystal clear waters. There’s no better or more convenient way to explore all this than by boat. Sardinia and Corsica have the most diverse coastlines of the Mediterranean. The two islands and the strait of Bonifacio that links them are a very popular sailing destination.
They are also renowned for attracting a great number of large crewed yachts. We can offer an extensive choice of these boats for charter. As a result of this popularity there are a number of local marinas well equipped to cater for their needs.
If you charter a bareboat in Sardinia’s waters you should either be a very competent sailor yourself or take an experienced skipper with you. It is also very important to familiarise yourself with the area’s nautical literature and navigational requirements.
If you prefer to stay on shore, there are plenty of excellent hotels (see our accommodation section). Or, you can mix it up and spend some time on shore and some on a yacht – all arranged to your specifications by Adriatic Holidays.
